Fjord1 wins contract for Anda Lote

One fully electric and one battery hybrid bio-fuel ferry will be in traffic between Anda and Lote from January 2018.

Today the Norwegian Public Roads Administration announced that Fjord1 has won the contract for ferry line Anda Lote. Fjord1, Boreal and Norled competed for the contract. The duration of the contract is ten years and starts from January 2018. 

One fully electric ferry and one plug in-hybrid bio fuel ferry will traffic between Anda and Lote. Both ships will be newbuilds and have the capacity to transport 110 cars. The ferries will depart every 20 minutes.
