The coastal route vessels will need 0.8-1.2 MW for hotel loads, and the remaining for charging batteries. The report has beend developed between ZERO, Energi Norge, Norwegian Shipowners Association and KS Bedrift.
The survey shows that a number of ports can provide shorepower and charging in 2021. For this to happen it is essential that the relevant ports and grid companies as fast as possible investigate the needed development and costs.
