The analysis of incidents with batteries on board of ships is important to improve the safety at sea and to prevent future accidents from happening. It also helps with the development of maritime battery technology and to make batteries a success in the global marine sector.

Have you been involved in an incident with batteries on board of a ship? The MBF Battery Safety JIP is creating a battery incident database to create an overview of incidents and to make sure we learn from them. Please share your experiences with us through our this FORM and send it to director@maritimebatteryforum.com. The information shared about incidents will be analysed anonymously in the battery incident database.
