Data analysis internship at the Maritime Battery Forum

The Maritime Battery Forum is looking for an intern to work on the Ship Register. The Ship Register is an overview of all the battery powered ships in the world, and we need someone to help us to maintain, improve and analyse the data. For this internship the MBF is looking for a proactive student who is interested in contributing to the electrification of the global maritime industry. The following tasks will be part of the internship:

  • Improving the quality of existing data

  • Maintaining the data and adding new battery powered ships to the database

  • Communicating with battery manufacturers, ship owners, integrators, class societies, and others to gather data on battery powered ships

  • Analyse the growth and trends in the development of battery powered ships and create valuable content and interesting statistics for the MBF and its members

  • Think of creative new ways to visualize the data

The Maritime Battery Forum offers a flexible and dynamic working environment at our office in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. You will learn about maritime battery systems and marine electrification, and you will work closely together with our managing director.

If you’re interested or have any questions, please send a message to director@maritimebatteryforum.com
