Maritime Battery Safety Workshop Singapore - Recap
Today, the Maritime Battery Forum in collaboration with the Singapore Battery Consortium organized a full day maritime battery safety workshop!
MBF Director - Syb Ten Cate Hoedemaker along with worskhop speakers
Over 80 participants got the chance to learn and discuss, with presentations on;
- Battery thermal runaway prevention
- Rules and regulations for safe integration of battery systems
- Practical considerations/classification regulations
and of course, firefighting guidelines onboard battery powered ships!
