Data Driven Design approach to ensure the rightsizing of Battery Systems - Co Speaker
This presentation will provide a case study of a large battery cruise ship application optimised to deliver the required power with the minimum installed energy. The presentation will explore how an optimised battery solution can provide enhanced safety, operational efficiency, reduced emissions (visible & CO2e), space & cost-efficiency. The solution presented will challenge the conventional thinking of the application of battery systems for large cruise ships and the choice of battery chemistry and technology. The presentation will share the experience of leveraging a Data Driven Design approach to ensure the rightsizing of battery systems – making battery systems smaller and lighter with less oversizing
