West, in collaboration with the Maritime Battery Forum, cohosted the inaugural session of the webinar series titled “Debunking Myths Regarding the Safety of Lithium-ion Batteries”. This session concentrated on the safety implications of all types of Lithium-ion batteries carried aboard vessels and covered best practices for their handling and transportation, supported by case studies and recommendations from the EU LASHFIRE project.
