Electrification update of the LR Zero Carbon Fuel Monitor

LR is inviting MBF members as experts on maritime batteries and marine electrification to participate in a workshop to update the information regarding electrification. 

The Lloyd's Register Maritime Decarbonisation Hub has developed and is continuously updating data on their Zero Carbon Fuel Monitor and its 'electrification' page is available here: Electrification - Compare zero carbon fuels | LR | LR. The goal of the Zero Carbon Fuel Monitor is to share information that can drive action to advance readiness of zero carbon solutions across the supply chain for shipping. 

  • It contains an assessment of the readiness of electrification for shipping, across the supply chain and against 3 readiness types: technology, investment, and community.

  • Insights related to the readiness of electrification and batteries.

The workshop shall take place on Tuesday 10 September 2024.

  • other MBF members are also welcome to participate

  • Introduction to the Zero Carbon Fuel Monitor

  • Identification of key trends and priorities
