Aluminium-plastic connection for battery cooling

Join us for a meeting with Erwin Quarder Systemtechnik who will introduce us to their innovative technology for bonding aluminium and plastic and how this can be used for battery cooling.

Possible benefits of this technology are:

• The combination of aluminium and plastic leads to almost design-free water management possibilities (low temperature differences, active preference of hot spots)

• Customized cooling plate (scalable system) with low tolerances, for round as well as prismatic and pouch cells

• Integration of the cold plate into the housing system, as well as other functions, such as busbar, brackets, or the tubing

• Cost-effective connection technology (standardized quick connection technology)

• Elimination of complex assembly and sealing processes

• A perfectly light connection - helium-tight, no micro-leakage at the lowest possible price
