Join us for the upcoming webinar on June 16th at 13:00 CET.
Short about the topic:
MBF has taken the initiative for an interest group on shore power. The interest group’s aim is to establish shore power on UK side - in particular for the harbors at Aberdeen, Montrose and Peterhead. The webinar will give an update on the; goals, progress, participants, willingness, barriers and business opportunities.
Batteries have been installed on offshore service vessels the past years, and the number of OSVs with batteries will increase even further for the years to come. Operators and owners of OSVs who has already invested or will invest in batteries on board their vessels can, by connecting to shore power, utilize the fuel saving potential even better.
Plans for offshore charging at offshore wind farms and offshore installations will also be addressed at the webinar.
The webinar may also include an update from a designer/project owner on a SOV projects solely based on large battery packs.
