The Octopus Series - a newly developed maritime battery system by EST-Floattech

After more than a decade of gaining experience with their Green Orca, EST-Floattech has recently released their newly developed maritime battery system, the Octopus Series.

The Octopus Series is a range of maritime battery systems designed as a modular platform which can be adjusted to fit different types of maritime applications. As the requirements for different ship types and operational profiles can vary significantly, this flexibility will allow EST-Floattech to supply their battery systems to a wide variety of ship types. The Octopus Series comes in a High Energy and a High Power version, and they are working on a LFP version for high energy applications. And of course, there is the option to choose for the containerized version as well.

This is another big step in the development of maritime battery systems, and we are looking forward to seeing this new system in action on board a ship soon.
