MBF and EOPSA Form Partnership

Partnerships are vital to building a sustainable maritime industry. This is why we are excited to announce the beginning of a formidable collaboration between the Maritime Battery Forum and EOPSA - European Onshore Power Supply Association!

With the common goal of acclerating decarbonisation, promoting #electrification and fostering #collaborations, this partnership could not have come at a better time!

With EOPSA - European Onshore Power Supply Association leading the charge in shore-side energy (SSE) and contributing to reducing pollution and greenhouse gases and the MBF paving the way for an emission free future through batteries, together, we are unstoppable!

About Eopsa

While in port, ships use their Auxiliary Engines (AE) to produce electricity.Shore-side energy (SSE) has the potential to eliminate ships engines emissions in ports and cities, reducing each pollutant by about 90% and greenhouse gas emissions by 50%, as well as reducing noise, vibration and engine wear-and-tear.

EOPSA' members are world experts that render OPS / SSE a reality: From design, innovations, permitting, incentives, EPCI, through to operations and maintenance, EOPSA’ members help deliver the electrification solutions a 21st century decarbonised port & port-city expects.
