The MBF is proud to announce that WATTS UP 2025 will be from the 5th - 6th of March 2025 in Helsingborg, Sweden!

The electrification of the maritime industry is accelerating globally, especially in the newbuilding segment of ships. But to make the emission reduction goals for 2050 we need to focus on retrofitting existing ships with electrification solutions as well. Therefore, the theme of WATTS UP 2025 will be #Retrofit for the Future!

We are calling upon all maritime battery and marine electrification experts to join us in Helsingborg and share your insights, developments, lessons learned, or experience on the topics of:

  • Maritime Battery Safety

  • Technology developments

  • New applications for maritime batteries

  • Sustainability in shipping

  • Standardization efforts

  • Financing electrification projects

  • Charing and shore power solutions
