MBF to lead interest group aiming to influence establishment of shore power at UK harbors

MBF has taken initiative to influence quicker development and installation of shore power in the UK and in particular Aberdeen, Montrose and Peterhead. On March 16, a kick-off meeting was held, where the interest group was established. The participants at the meeting were from; Chrysaor, DOF, Equinor, Plug AS, REM Offshore, Solstad Offshore and of-course MBF, who will be leading the group.

A working committee, with key people from the interest group, was formed at the meeting. The working committee will meet more regular than the interest group. MBF members are welcome to join the interest group and take part of the discussion. Get in touch with Lars Christian Larsen if you are interested.

Minutes from meetings held, as well as presentations and actions completed as part of this initiative will be available on the member platform.

We hope that our members find this interesting and see this as an opportunity.
