Cargo ship owner ? Let us know what you think about batteries!

Are you a cargo ship owner or operator? Let us know what you think about batteries!

Did you know that there are already 94 cargo ships with a battery system installed? About 17% of these are inland cargo ships, 64% are coastal cargo ships, and 19% are ocean-going cargo ships. The Maritime Battery Forum is collaborating with CIMAC on a study to define the “Environment for battery use on-board ocean-going cargo ships”. The goal of this study is to find our when, where, and how using batteries is realistic and advantageous on-board ocean-going cargo ships.

We have created a survey for coastal and ocean-going cargo ship owners and managers to get their perspective on using batteries on board their ships. This information will be used as basis for understanding the ship owners’ and managers’ point of view.

Please take 2 minutes to fill in the SURVEY.

As a thank you, you will receive the report of the study when it is finished, and you will receive a 20% discount code for the upcoming WATTS UP conference on 6-7 March in Oslo, organized by the Maritime Battery Forum.
